+ Information
Carmen Woreth is a Paris-based visual artist and photographer whose practice explores intimate narratives, memory, and invisible transmissions through an autoethnographic approach. While rooted in photography, her work expands into multidisciplinary forms – including hybrid printing, installation, and visual experimentation – to question the boundaries between document, archive, and imagination, generating fragmented narratives that move between the personal and the collective. Her first book, Story of a Journey, Mexico (2024), reflects on the passage of time and the fragility of memory, while her series Les veines de la pierre delves into issues of lineage and intergenerational memory. Her work has been shown in group exhibitions in France and abroad, including the Impulse Festival in Arles and the Liquida Festival in Turin, and has been featured in publications such as Revive Magazine and the Fresh Eyes Talents Book 25’ published by GUP Magazine.
